THE LOVE OF GOD

But God proves His love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us Romans 5:8

Have you ever created something that started out as a thoughtful Idea in your head and finally became a visible and credible project? Oh, what joy and healthy sense of responsibility you’d feel from within your bowels. You’d pour all your love and priority into it because of how good it turned out to be. The Bible says that God beheld everything that He had made and He saw that it was good Genesis 1:31.

Now imagine that you woke up one morning and found out that your nurtured and projected idea got stolen by an unsuspecting individual and immediately made registered ownership of your invention. You’d be able to see your conception (so to speak) but you can no longer feel, touch, or care for it the way you originally designed it to be cared for. That’s exactly how God felt when His creations went out of order. Genesis 6:5-6 shows a very delicate side of God’s emotion. He was grieved. (To think how God must have felt makes my heart cry)

He was not happy that He couldn’t be close to the ones He carefully created in His likeness. He wanted fellowship, He wanted to show care and protection the way He designed it. He yearned for a way to fully redeem man without causing detriment to the man He created and the only way was for divinity to bare our sins.

His undefinable love for His creation made Him sacrifice His only begotten son to redeem man (you and I). He sent Jesus to spill His blood by dying on the cross of Calvary just so He can be able to have intimate fellowship with us again.

So if you are reading this and if for any reason, you don’t feel loved and you feel like no one cares for you, this post is to let you know that someone greater than a million men loves you so much and wants to pour out all His love on you. He wants you to call him Father and He wants to call you child. He says to tell you that He’s not happy that you are not enjoying life the way He designed. He’s wide open to give you a new life. It’s up to you to believe in His Son, Jesus Christ as the one who freely saves you from every guilt and sin. If you are yet to, I kindly implore you to say this prayer of salvation.

“O lord God, I believe with all my heart in Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God. I believe he died for me and God raised him from the dead. I believe he’s alive today. I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life from this day. Through Him and in His Name, I have eternal life; I’m born again. Thank you, Lord for saving my soul! I’m now a child of God. Hallelujah!’’
