THREE AREAS OF FOCUS IN 2023

1. Prioritize the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit was paramount in the Ministry of the early Church. ( Read Acts 19:1-7)

Realize that the Holy Spirit made you; He is your creator; He fashioned you and always wants to fellowship  with you.

Job 33:4 The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.

The Holy Spirit always desired to live amongst men, and the Father fulfilled His dream when He gave Him to us to live in us. Let Him be more than an experience in your life. He delights in fellowship with you. Prioritize His ministry in your life. Don’t ignore Him.

Proverbs 8:20-21  I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment: That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.

The Holy Spirit wants to talk to you and show you the way of the kingdom. He is the Wisdom of God and the voice of God to guide you. He wants to lead you to inherit substance. If you will let Him, you will never be a victim of man-made, fake poverty.

2. Prioritize the Word of God

Colossians 3:16- Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

This year, you have to get the Word of God into you abundantly. Give ample attention to it like never before. Spend quality time to study and meditate on the Word. If you want God to do for you something He has never done before, then you have to be ready to do what you have never done before.

3. Learn to use the Name of the Lord Jesus

Colossians3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

The Scripture says to do everything, not somethings, in the Name of the Lord Jesus. You don’t only use His name when you are in a dire situation. If you live like that, progress will be slow. The Scripture says to do all things in the name of the Lord Jesus. When you do this, you will be amazed at the results you will have in your life.

Also, you have to recognize Him as Lord and address Him rightly. Since after the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, nobody called Him ‘’Jesus”, He was called “Lord”. When you are talking about Him, you can call Him Jesus, but when  you are talking or singing to Him directly, address Him as Lord Jesus. Realize that the Lord Jesus is your creator. Your spirit came into being by the spoken Word. You ought to address Him reverently.
